Component Pattern based on an Assembly Feature Pattern

Component Pattern based on an Assembly Feature Pattern

A pattern of components would be driven by a Feature Pattern in the current or lower assembly.

This can be accomplished with a feature pattern in a part file, but not if the pattern is an sub-assembly modeling feature.

It can be done with parameters. use the parameters that you made when making the pattern. very easy to do.

yes parameters can be linked, but it would be much easier to pick it.

We are refining procedures around idea status.  Changing this to Future Consideration.

I have a case where I have a set of holes (non-uniformed spacing) that is put in a weldment assembly using Sketch Driven Pattern.  In the assembly where I am attaching the weldment I can't use the Sketch Driven Pattern to define a pattern for the hardware (bolts, washers, etc.).  So I have to assemble six sets of hardware in these holes.

We are also encountering the same problem.
Would it be possible to implement this into Inventor ?
Below are two captures which I hope will make it easier to collect votes for this request.
