CONSTRAIN SIMPLIFICATION/FASTER WORK FLOW

Hi Dev team,

During the assembly, the most frequent command we use is constrain.

i would like to suggest that an option to be provided to apply the constrain automatically after selecting the required faces. (current process: we have to press "Apply").

This option should be a check box type, where users could disable it. And alsoMay be an alterable timer can be provided, incase if the designer selected the wrong faces he can cacel the constrain immediatly by pressing escape.

I strongly believe that this will help to increase the designing pace and productivity.

i am not sure, if this idea is far fetched, let you guys decided.... cheers

Very interesting idea, seems like it would really speed things up.  I like it!

Just wondering...Do you use the right click menu for "apply"?  It's a lot quicker than mousing back to the constraint dialog box to hit it there.

I'd also suggest using the assemble constraint command (shown below) instead of the plain constraint command. If you're not aware of it.  It's more dynamic and it has an "Apply" in the right click menu.  It takes a bit of getting used to but it's worth it. Try it out on a very simple assembly to get the hang of it.  Hope this helps in the meantime. Cheers

I just map one of the buttons on my mouse to be the ENTER key.
