Bolted Connections: PEM Should Select & Update Based on Material Thickness

Hi,

I'm using the Bolted Connection command to place PEM Fasteners in my sheet metal designs and have the following two requests...

1). I'd like the function to automatically select the appropriate PEM fastener size (shank code) for the material thickness that it is being installed into.

2). I'd like the PEM fastener to update to the appropriate size (shank code) when I make a change to the sheet metal thickness.

Currently I have to do this manually which can be very time consuming.

Thanks,

Brian

This Is a must for bolted connections. Please also add PEM studs to insert.

Bolted connections is a really fast way of adding bolts and nuts to assemblies. The problem is that it is not well supportive of sheet metal fasteners. Pem nuts are supported, but not Pem studs. It would be great to select a sheet metal stud as you would a bolt and add it to your assembly in bolted connections. Please see the drawing showing the Pem nuts added with bolted connection, but the free PEM studs have to be added content centre. Vote for allowing PEM or other sheet metal studs to be added via bolted connection.
