Assigning electrical pins to a component

Assigning electrical pins to a component

Now that Inventor is able to read the electrical catalogue browser, when assigning electrical connection pins to a part, there should be the ability to read the coil pins and pin-list from the electrical catalogue browser. Solidworks / Solidworks Electrical does this and it makes it easier to assign the correct pin values to the connections when creating the part

Thank you notifying me. Most inventor user's are mechanical and therefore do not understand what electrical does so I'm not surprised. However I would have thought those at Autodesk would have thought it was a great idea. No one knew that they needed the motor car until Henry Ford had a brilliant idea!

Solidworks does it already by the way so inventor is lagging behind.

Cheers
