I have complex geometry in AutoCAD, which I can copy to Inventor as a sketchblock, and use this for feature creation. It would be great if I was able to modify this geometry using the tools in AutoCAD, because making a similar modification with the sketching tools in Inventor on an unconstrained sketch would be near impossible to do.
AutoCAD is great for manipulating geometry that is not constrained in any way. With the 'Modify' tools and the ability to modify the UCS, I can make manipulations very quickly.
These same Modify tools in the Inventor sketch environment are near useless on unconstrained geometry, and using the Precise Input option is a complete nightmare.
