Ability to save Content Center Favorites

Ability to save Content Center Favorites

Like the application options and other settings, there should be a way to save the favorites created within the content center to an external file so as not to loose them.

See this link.

it's ok to have a simple way to do that but you surely know that you only have to copy the file "favourites.xml" locatend in this folder:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Inventor 2017\Content Center\Settings

even better: ability to share this file amongst colleages so everybody uses the same "standard" parts.

e.g. make it part of the "design data" folder so its company wide accesible.

Glad to hear. Moving to release 2020 made this issue visibel again.

Yes , the Favorites in 2021 cannot be copied by use of the Favorites.xml file , I have to leave it read only.
This is very frustrating in a design shop with multiple users using different fasteners and slowly adding more content as "standard" in our shop
