weird sweep tube profile path

Ihave to create some fuel and brake lines from some existing "physiacl" lines, (reverese engineering). What I am trying to do is create some grounded work points, and then use the persice point command to then place the points for the 3D path. Nothing I do will allow me to get the percise point box to un-gray, surely IV doesn't intend for you to draw the profiles in 2D and then project them into 3D, I mean would be doing the work TWICE!!!, (not time efficant). Does this equalify as the "only use the piping module frequentily" I guess I could pay anthor $6,000 for IVP, just to have the functionally "every once in a while". Any help would be great!!???...

After I have a "starting point" defined in Skectch
and go to Part Features, I,m able to use grounded work points from that point.

maybe this is what your looking for: In grd'ed work
pts, select "more" tab. Check "repeat" box. Return to "Transform" and after ever
pt hit apply and done. Should be no reason to RMB. Hopr this is
helpful.
