Technique 1 edit the part to be cut within the context of the assembly.
Copy Object surface(s) from the second part to use for cutting the first.
Sculpt or Split first part with surfaces from second part.
start a new part file and Derive Component the part to cut as solid and the part to use for cutting as surface body.
Sculpt or Split as above.
Thanks! Method 1 works like a charm, but I stucked on another thing. After splitting a solid with surface created with copying second solid faces, I get two solids. But they are undeletable. I want to remove one of them. How can it be done?
thanks in advance

Did you try Sculpt rather than Split?
