subtract like autocad

I created 2 solids (each in different plan) and then i intersected them. How can i subtract one of them like in AutoCAD?

When i extruded one of them, the option "hole" was disabled so i can't make a hole. Does exists into inventor a function like subtract in autocad?

Hi nicu_bogd,

You can use the Combine tool, to subtract Solid1 from Solid2.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

While you can use Combine (subtract option) there is most likely a better way.

Attach your file here, I don't understand this "the option "hole" was disabled".

I solved the problem with Combine. Thanks. I don't know why when i extruded it, the button "hole" was disabled.

Attach your file here and someone will show you a better way.

I've never even seen this button "hole" in the way you describe.

At least post a screen shot.
