sketch changes when imported into inventor????

Why does it do this and is there a way around it? I have to many acad sketches to be redrawing them all in inventor. When I import acad sketches into Inventor via copy/paste or the insert acad file button the sketch changes in some way. The sketch I am importing has no dimensions or constraints, its just simple acad geometry. Its these kinds of roadblocks that make me want to stay with MDT!! Im trying to switch but its getting frustrating. Thanks for any help.

Can you be more specific?

For example: can you characterize what specifically changes?

What version of AutoCAD was used to create the original geometry?

What version of Inventor are you using?

Are you using the "constraint end point" option?

Was the geometry "correct" to begin with?

Can you supply a before/after example showing the changes?

Are the changes always the same?

well I think it was user error. I added to the sketch once imported and it was shifting around on me. I probably should have hit autodimension to keep my imported sketch from moving around before I stared adding to it. Sorry about the bogus flag Im a rookie inventor user trying to convert from MDT.

Hello,

If you are experiencing an issue with existing sketch geometry being
constrained when you import more geometry into it then please be aware that
we are looking into the problem as to not constrain existing sketch items.
