"Coil" isn't working?

I'm not exactly sure coil and rifling are the same thing, but I'll try it anyways.

"Rifling is the process of making spiral grooves in the barrel of a gun or firearm, which imparts a spin to a projectile around its long axis"

That's not it?

yes that is it, but it's not that simple, and coil doesn't make spiral grooves that can be defined in inches per second now can they?

You can use any two of Pitch, Height and Revolution.

Is inches per second velocity?

If not, 1 revolution is 360 degrees, there's 60 minutes in a degree and 60 seconds in a minute. So if you can do a little math you should be able to come up with a way you can define a coil.
