question about unable to open .idw---again

Hello. Recently I post some threads regarding to my problem of unable to open certain .idw files which were created based on exploded .ipn

When I try to open the .idw without .ipn and .iam openning, IV gives couple of times of messages like: part XXXX are different from original part #### then it refuse to open it.

When I opened .iam and .ipn, global update .iam, save .iam and save .ipn, then try to open .idw, it seems IV is openning the idw cause I can see the panel on the left side change to drawing panel and shows : sheet 1 then, I heard hard drive is rovolving repidly and , IV crash, or it close itself without any further notice.

So, I try to open the .idw from VVE, and , it worked. I can see my drawing in VVE.

I am think, why Autodesk even don't give me an option such as : open the drawing without update. So I could open it in IV 7 .

What do u think ?

precise to manual outside of inventor.  Try opening then.  The reason
VV is working is it is only looking at the IDW as a snapshot.  The IDW is
trying to update itself on the parts.  Try hiding the part that the IDW
thinks it should be opening.  Ie hide the XXXX.  IDW get confused if
there are two similar parts in the project path to find.  It also happens
quite a bit if replace was used in the assembly.
