can i save and IDW file in a format that a professional printer can print me
some brochures. High resolution would be my goal so these can be distributed
to a customer.
PDF or another high res prefrably.

that's not sharp enough bump the x up to

If you want to keep the aspect ratio then do
multiples of 1024 x 768 I like 3072 x2304 personally.
