printing brochures (convert to printers format)

How can i save and IDW file in a format that a professional printer can print me some brochures. High resolution would be my goal so these can be distributed to a customer.

PDF or another high res prefrably.
Thanks
Ken

Ken, we use a lot of our IDW's for manuals and just
save the IDW as a BMP and use a high resolution then edit it to whatever
format the printing service uses. You can also use Charles Bliss's add on
to save them direct to JPG. We have had real nice results this way.

Thanks Allen,
I think i will try C. Bliss' add on but for the mean time
I noticed that to set the resolution when saving the file as a bitmap i pick options and it asks for an X and Y reolution value. Could you suggest a number to put in these boxes?
Thanks, Ken

Try 2000 in the x and leave the y alone.  If
that's not sharp enough bump the x up to 3000

If you want to keep the aspect ratio then do
multiples of 1024 x 768 I like 3072 x2304 personally.

I should have said the aspect ratio for an 8 1/2 x
11 sheet.

Prices and specifications subject to change without
notice <G>
