on screen ghost box...go away.

I have a small annoying problem with some right click commands . When in an
idw and I right click to use the visibility command, then click on it, a
ghost box of the visibility stays on screen for a few seconds. Are there
any video card or monitor tweaks I can do to get rid of the ghost box?

Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give me.

In the display setting (windows) there is a switch for using menu effects
(fade) turn it off.
