nuts & bolts

Greetings

I have modelled up a nut and bolt.

1. Have i matched the thread size correctly.I made the bolt thread the same size as the nut thread size

2. I see these in the Content centre but if i want to make my own nuts & bolts with various sizes what do you suggest.I can then just select the required sizes

3. How do you name your nuts & bolts. How would you name what i attached

Thanks for any help

Lou

Thank you

Would it be best to just use the Content Centre?

Can the nuts/bolts from Content Centre have there colors changed?

Thanks again

I used to hate content centre along with many others which is why there are so many ipart librarys floating around.  That said, I have been forced to use it in my current job and it has improved drastically over the years.  Copying content centre librarys to your own custom library, you can do what you want with, (material colour etc) so this would suit your needs...

One thing to be aware of when your searching for help, use the wrong spelling for centre, center... I know, I know... they still use some strange pre history measuring methods over the pond as well, dating from the era when apes turned to humanoids and we still had 12 fingers 😉
