need help with constraint

I am using IV 2010.  I have one part constrined to move at a distance when I drive the constraint it works fine. Now I would like to constrain a second so when I drive the first part the second moves in the opposite direction the same distance.  Thanks,

Within the browser hover over the first constraint to get the parameter number. Take that parameter and enter it into the parameter field of the second constraint, and if need be make it a negative (ie -(d45)).

I am missing something. I constrained it like you said. However when I go to drive the first part second part still does not move.  I would like both parts to move at the same time, opposite direction, equal distance. Similar to if you had two objects on a pulley.  Thanks.
