3D Max is the best in my opinion (gives you very
realistic results and works great with Inventor). Although Max is more
expensive, Discreet provides a 30 day trial of 3D studio MAX. It works
great although there is a steep learning curve (the 30 days may be enough to
learn if you are willing to learn).
