iproperty: catalog web link

Dear Sirs,

I put this url in iproperty: catalog web link: www.google.it in a part

Then I published the DWF.

I supposed than I push ctrl - click catalog web link: www.google.it  in design review properties table the browser pop up but nothing happend.

My idea is fill this iproperty of any part that need maintenance with the url of manufacturer. So the customer can directly download the manuals.

Thans for everyone could help me.

Dear Raminasrl,

Thank you for having posted your interesting question.

Effectively the iproperties are only text and are not recognized as hyperlink neither in Inventor nor in Design Review.

In Inventor directly a solution could be to add a "note" containing a hyperlink. When you open the note and double click on the link the web page is opened. But unfortunately this note is not exported in dwf format in design review.

Let me know if you would need more info on this subject

Please add this issue to the wishlist of new release of Design review.

Best regards
