inventor 2012

when opening .ipn file in 2012 & 2011 which was created on old version the 2012 is NOT responding.  anybody can help. - mmistry@tyco-bspd.com

Are you trying to open 2012 files with 2011?  You can't open files created in a newer version - only option is to save as a Step/Iges in 2012 and open that in 2011 (but you will lose your feature-tree).

no I tried to open it in 2011 and 2012 but both time it crashed (NOT RESPONDING)
