Hello
Who knows how to render an image of an assembly or part in a different position view. I have tried searching but only come across animating in a different position view.

You can set an animation to render each slide as a separate file.
Will that work for your intent?
The CADWhisperer YouTube Channel
put assembly in position as needed..
Change view style to realisting and turn on raytracing.
IMO raytracing looks just as good as rendering in studio environment most of the time.
if I do that then I guess I should only make the time line 1 second or less ?
Maybe I am misunderstanding the problem, but why not simply create positional representations and render the pos reps like so?
You have to exit studio in order to switch pos reps (at least you do in 2012, not sure if this is still true in later versions).
That being said, if you want the views identical, be sure to create a camera in the position you wish to render so that you can quickly go back to the exact same spot.
ok so that works and solves everything....thank you
just put it in the position you want it in then go into inventor studio and it stays in that position. thanks a lot
