idw detailing/dimensioning- "snap" proximity

Hey Folks, we've just recently jumped from r9 (not 2009) to 2010, and the detailing component of my job sddenly sucks.

Perceived problem: the radius for "snapping" of the dimension, balloon and centrelines seems to have decreased to zero, so that i need to be sooo much more precise in my mouse movement.  This is frustrating two ways- it has slowed me right down, and i find my self having to cancel and re-do a much higher percentage of my actions in the idw.

Is there a "Snap radius" setting that i can tweak? I guess it would be analogous to the AutoSnap marker or Aperture size in AutoCAD. (I know, I know.)
