iLogic

Can anybody help????

This might sound like a silly question!!!!!

I am currently using a "addin" to monitor the "Save" button press on Anventor. It runs every time I press the "Save" button regarless on the type of document I have open (ipt, idw, iam).

Can I use iLogic in the same way so I can remove the "addin"?

All I need it to do (For test only!!!) is to display a message box every time the user presses the "Save" button regardless of the document type.

so therfore, if I close inventor and reopen a part, drawing, or assembly, it will always run.

Many thanks in advance!!!!

Darren

This will only happen if a change has been made I have no idea way because the trigger is set to go when saved but seem to only work if something changed.

Just put this rule in all your templates and set event trigger..

 Make a rule with this

MessageBox.Show("I WAS SAVED", "THANK YOU")

You can change the I WAS SAVED and the THANK YOU

After making the rule go to event triggers and put the rule in after save document..

It only runs if the document was dirty because it's only saved if the document was dirty. If you put the rule in the "before save" trigger it will always run when the save command is executed regardless of whether it was dirty or not.
