how do I upgrade and have no problem with lost files?

Hi, I would like to upgrade to new version of AI but I am afraid that I will lost all my content center conections like it was with previous upgrade.

How do I install/upgrade AI so files open in new version without loosing all content center parts paths? What I usualy get is window informing me that xxxxx.ipt is no longer avialable and to show new path to this file. This is for all content center elements.

Also I would like to know how to upgrae to have all my program setings in new version, and not to have set everything up again from scratch.

Regards,

Cris

You can certainly export and import your settings see link

http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Inventor/enu/2012/Help/0073-Autodesk73/0285-Work_Env285/0303-Customiz30...

Procedures

+Save or restore customization settings
After customizing keyboard command aliases and shortcuts,....

There's 2 import/exports of this type one in Tools> Application options and one in the Ribbon/toolbar customization, well there is in Inv 2011, don't know about 2013.

Can't give you much help on CC, maybe try the installation & licensing group in the message at the top of the discussion group
