haw can i copy shaft made ​​with design accelerator?

How can I  copy shaft  made ​​with  design accelerator, which can be changed with design accelearator and is not connected with the first ?

Unless you have all the sub-steps to create a new shaft you can’t create copy of a shaft done in Design accelerator and copy it without having it linked back to the original shaft. Any copy of the shaft will be linked back to the original and update with any changes done to the original shaft. If you need a shaft similar it would be best to create a new shaft.

There are Open and Save icons at the right side of the title bar. Save exports the shaft as a template, and Open imports a template.

 

 All of the DAcc component generators can use templates. I find it especially useful for bolted connections. You can save templates of fastener types with the washers and nut. When you create a new BC, you select the template and update the diameter and length.

LorenJ's process works.

Save the template make new shaft using the template and a new shaft is created which you can modify using design accelerator.
