exporting to acad from inventor scale question

We use multiple sheets in an idw, all our idw's have to be converted to autocad for final documentation, they have to be in model space. with that said, does the first view of the first sheet determine the scale of the rest of the sheets view scales when exported?

You end up with a separate drawing file for each page. IV file with 3 pages XZY.IDW will produce XZY_1.dwg, XZY_2.dwg and XZY_3.dwg

My export settings produce Model Space drawings

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

I believe you're right, Scott.  Setting the export option to Base View Scale - Model Space will set the scale of all of the views by the first view placed in the drawing.  So if you have other views at different scales, you will get geometry in model space of different scales.

Hi

"Sheet Scale, Model Space"

This will scale each view correctly.
