[error message] Inventor 2010: Fatal error - no recovery is possible

Whole message reads:
The transaction manager failed to start

Failed to create memory-mapped file used for scratch data.
(followed by some chinese characters)

Has anyone gotten this message, and if so, fixed it? I have tried restarting and shutting down but no help there.
I'm running Windows Vista SP1 (32 bit), Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, 3.00 GB RAM, Geforce FX 5200 video card. I can provide extra info if you ask, but if it requires any power using you'll have to link a guide or or tell me how to get it.

Thanks. Edited by: nschneid on Jul 1, 2009 3:59 PM

Does this happen on all files or just one. Can you zip and
post the files?

It happens when I attempt to start the program or open any inventor file. So basically I can't do a thing.

I can't see those links because I'm behind a very restrictive gov't filter, and I didn't install the program myself because I'm under the control of network gestapos.

Sounds like an improper install. System spec's, O/S would help. My guess is
low level user security settings and possibly an Anti-Virus software active
when installed. Good places to start checking
