'custom property format' reseting

Hi Guys,

Ive been working on some parts and associated drawings for several months.

I had some plates which had the thickness parameter formated within the parts to show round numbers.

I had used these fomated (and exported) parameters to make labels to show plate thickness on a detail.

ie

user parameter name = Legbrace_Stiff01_Thk

unit = mm

equation = 10.000 mm

export parameter ticked - formated to show no trailing 0's and no unit

preview = 10

iproperties : Stock Number "=<Legbrace_Stiff01>_Thk> PLATE"

gives "10 PLATE"

note on drawing calls <StockNumber>

Had been working fine for weeks...multiple (unrelated) revisions no worries

Then today, I open drawing and all notes read 10.000mm PLATE

When i look at the part files, the formating has dissapeared!

If i reformat in each part, the notes correct and seem to hold the formating...for now.

Any thoughts as to why parameters would loose formating for what seems no apparent reason.

Just had some of these do this again. (not all on drawing but a few)

Its a pain reseting them every time.

Could this be a bug...can anyone else confirm/replicate this behavior when using skeletal modeling??

to expand...

the 'LegBrace_Stiff01_Thk' parameter is first defined in a skeleton model, which is then derived into the part file to give it the extrusion length.

I have been formating the parameter in the part file, not the skeleton file...I may want to use the full format in other files so I only realy want the formating in the part file of the stiffener and not the skeleton file.
