Can this part be modelled so as more smooth..there is a noticeable join line between Extrusion 1 & Extrusion 7
It uses Extrusion 1 & Extrusion 7 + Loft 7 and gets the desired shape but is there a more better technique or is this how it needs to be formed
It is a test and try version so far

I would expect the angled lines in Sketch26 to be tangent to the cylindrical feature rather than to the quadrants.
Whenever I see Lofts to sketch profiles rather than to faces, I have to wonder, is that really really what you want. If you loft to faces you get tangency control, not so with sketches.
Several features were needed, but perhaps ...

I'm not sure of your design intent but this one looks fairly smooth.
Not sure why ext9 & 10 are unhappy?
Hi,
here is another method / approch.
The ol' cut out the bit you don't like and re-make trick.
Hope this helps

Hi! The geometry looks fairly similar to the picture in the following thread.

Are you guys working on the same project at the school? I agree with other members. This part is better not to model with just a feature. You might be able to create it with just one Loft (a few sections). But, the part will be very hard to edit down the road or to add new features later.
Good luck with your project!
Thanks!
