i have changed the description of my content center bolts and in the content center editor, a bolt will show up 0.75"_x_3"-Bolt. but when i put bolts into an assembly they show up like 0.75_x_3-Bolt. i want the inch marks to show up in the assembly when im calling them out. Am i missing a step to this? if you can help thank you.
You will need to take a look at your Family Table and examine the parameter mapping in the table. If the Part Number contains the inch marks and it is being used for the File Name then the inch marks are going to get stripped out of the File Name. You also need to look at what is being mapped to Member.DisplayName. This will affect what name you see in the browser. You may need to consider reworking the parameter mapping and additional columns to meet the custom naming you want to use.
