IV don't recreate the part if you insert a part you have inserted before, I think.
Insert a part you never have inserted before to verify.
You may have to delete all the parts you already have made to recreate them with your new settings...

After I change the settings in the catalog(mm).ipt I just start a brand new iam.
but nothing happens. The standard part are still have the same settings befor.
