bending/curving a coil

By what steps can you bend a col, or make it follow a curved path. Imagine a sleenkie (if that is how it is spelled) going down some steps

I think you are expecting too much of Inventor.........

hmmmmm very clever but the eggspurts are not responding so its either a hoax
or a hoax...........

or is it possible with the wiring version of inventor

its all I can do to get a straight spring to have the right ends

I would reply directly to that the person that posted the pic in that thread. If he uses the RSS feed there is a better chance he will see the reply and my be able to help.

Ah - ha, thank you Dennis. I figured it might be the Bend command, but I could not figure it out on my own. And I was to stubborn to look it up.
