Wrong excel reference?

Hi,

I have a part that uses some parameters from an excel file. The part and the excel file are in folder A.

Then I want to use the part in some other design. I copy the excel file to folder B and use the 'Save As'

command to save a copy of the part in folder B too.

Now I can use the part in the new design and it seems to correctly refer to the copied excel file in folder B.

But when I change some thing in the excel file things seems to go wrong.

For example: I change a parameter in the excel file in folder B to 10.

The part is not updated.

I need to change the original excel file (folder A) for the part to be updated.

But it uses the values from the excel file from folder B!

When changing the parameter in the excel file from folder B to 11, the part is updated but the new value it uses is 10!.

So the link to the excel file seems ok, but it checkes the wrong file for updates.

How can I make this work correctly?
