Since the install of SP1 for Inv 2012 I've had an issue with viewing a workplane or axis from the edge. All that shows is the handles on the corners/ends. See attached screenshot. This is pre-select, hovering over the item in the browser before selecting it. If the plane or axis extends outside your view window, with the corner handles off screen, there's no way of seeing the object you have highlighted.
I've also have this work plane/axis highliting problem after installing Inventor 2012 SP1 on a Win7 64 bit PC.
It's apparently a Win7 64 bit problem because XP 32 bit correctly highlites the work planes & axis after SP1 installation.

Michael, I was able to reproduce this issue on R2012 Sp1. We are logging this issue in our tracking system. it is being taken care of.
Thanks for reporting.
I'm seeing same thing here on 32-bit but only with axis - origin workplanes highlight fine.
I thought is was my old machine that was the problem.
I am having the same issue as well. I can only see the handles on the ends of axis which can be very difficult to work with when zoomed in. I've also noticed some problems viewing hidden lines in a sketch that cross over a solid...the hidden line turns to a very thin solid line instead of a dashed line. Maybe all the same issue? I've tried different video card drivers to see if this fixes the problem, but to no avail.

I am still waiting for this fix.
I am tired of not being able to highlight and see the axes.

Hi Steven,
The fix should have been included in the latest Inventor 2012 Service Pack2. You can get it from here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=19164683&linkID=9242019
Thanks & regards,
Thanks for the reply. I installed SP2, and the visibility of the highlighted work planes and axis are working just fine. Thanks to whoever fixed this in SP2, and shame on whoever screwed it up in the first place.
