It may take 24 hours for the changes to propagate around to the various
servers.

It's very interesting, as I believe.
Two minor things to mention:
- It's only available for the US/English language countries
- It can't be installed side by side with Inventor 2008

;-) But I've downloaded the translators ..

How does one open-install the Inventor Translators part?
It is a ZIP file, when i tried to open I get "File skipped unknown
compression method"

No problems with the download or extract of the zip file to a executable
(*.exe).

I have never had problems with ZIP files, right click, then run the
executable.
WIth this file nothing happens.
Just in case the ZIP file got corrupted I dowloaded it again, same problem
with the new download.
?????

Thanks,
Erich

There are several links to additional information on the labs page. If you go through that information it says the license will last till May '08 and after that the projected price is $999.

Try unzipping it to a folder. Do not run the exe from inside the zip. I used
WinZip with no issues.

Installed just fine on AIP 2008

By then IV2009 should be out and a new add-in. Sounds like the people in
subscription have something to do with the license dates....

Are there any limitations place on files created with this free preview,
like the watermarks in the EDU version?
I was looking at hiring a part timer for a large amount of single part
modeling, this LT version would be way better than buying another licence
that will only get used for a few months.

Why can only people from several countries download this?
And why is it that I must fill in the download form before I could
notice that I can not download it?

We pay much more for the same Autodesk software then competitors in the
States but we got less.
