When opening a file, the browser will not open.

Sorry if this is a very silly question. It is my first time using inventor, so I am obviously not experienced with it in the least. Whenever I open any file, part, assembly, etc... the ribbon shows up fine, but the browser will not show up, and I cannot find a way to turn it on or off (if that is even a possibility). Any help would be great. Thank you all in advance.

This looks like the dialog box is behind another or hidden off screen. Try using the ALT+SpaceBar keyboard combination, then M for Move, then release they keys. Now use the arrow keys to see if you can get it on the screen. Once there press Enter to quit the moving and leave the dialog where it is.

So that would be "fine" if you could "select" the Browser via keyboard... is there a way to do this?

This isn't like a dialog box that comes up that you can then use the alt-space to move what is currently a model dialog...  Browser is non-modal and as far as I know, the only way to select it is by clicking on it.. can't click what you can't see....

PS, I'm having the same problem....  Browser is checked on the View/User Interface list... just can't see it unless I have my second display connected...

So the only way I've found to fix this is to edit the registry for the Browser location (modify the left and right locations to be on screen… they were set as negative values before ….)
