To answer you question or questions, you need to clarify.
To get a parts list, you need an assembly -- iam
When you make a derived part you get only one part if you ask for a part
list.
If you still want a part list of the derived part, you have to get it off
the iam that made up the derived part. Keep the iam off the paper border
and get the parts list there.
