Weld Constraint Geometry No Longer There?

As you can see from the image below, the preview shows the weld I want and need, but as per the error message it is saying the geometry is no longer available.  What does that mean?  Can anyone shed some light on this and tell me if it has anything to do with the fact that the pieces being welded together are custom CC parts?  If that is the issue is there a remedy for it?

No one has any thoughts on this either one way or the other?

I am having the same problem!  Very annoying.

What's odd is that I had it working, then changed some parts, deleted the old welds, and tried to create new.  Then I get the error.

I forgot about this thread.  It doesn't matter to me anymore seeing I do not for for that company anymore and into a completely different product line currently.  I get your frustration though.  It was weird that it would preview, yet not create it.  Or, on some parts, it will create it, but not on others.

In general, posts like this do not get any responses without dataset that exhibits the behavior.

Too many confounding variables to speculate.
