If anyone is interested, here are the vessel specifications...  if you would like more information, visit globalmaritime.com

The movie was produced for Windforce 2012 last month and by all accounts, went down well.  Most of the models were already there in Inventor format a certain amount of detail needed to be added.  The whole 3d studio texturing, lighting, animating process took 1 guy about 2 months.  because of the tight timescales, some of the scenes needed to be cut and there are elements that will be improved on in the coming weeks.

I was very impressed both by the amount and quality that was produced in such a short timescale, this is mainly credited to the guys skills but also the improvements in software

Some finishing touches have been added to the movie...  A crane to lift the foundations onto the vessel and what I think is a very realistic seascape showing the unloading at sea.

Outstanding!

I may have to show this to some of my folks and ask them if they think that you modeled the interiors of the ships!!

Some of these guys seem to think that EVERY minute detail HAS to be included in a model.
