I seem to have a few components in this here drawing that refuse to show themselves.
These are two occurrences of a patterned sub-assembly. The one that's missing it's foot and gussets is the first occurrence. This view is set to use the models view rep and is set to associative. It shows up correctly in the model. I've tried playing with every setting I can think of (yes, including graphics compatibility mode and software graphics mode). I've tried restarting the computer, manually updating the view, setting the view's view rep to master, turning off associative, etc. I'm out of ideas. Can anyone else suggest something else to look at that I may have overlooked?
It may be worth mentioning that this is a large assembly (by my standards) and Inventor is dragging **** trying to work with it. Occurrences/Unique Files: 7967 / 119
Here's some system specs in case anyone wants to ask:
Inventor 2013 SP2
Windows 7 SP 1
Dell Precision T5600
Intel Xeon 3.3GHz x 4 Cores
32 GB RAM
AMD FirePro V5900 (2GB)
237 GB SSD
Under the display options for the drawing view, did you play with the section all parts, and Cut Inheritance options?
Expand the tree and check the status of the pattern object or missing part from there.
Thanks for the reply. This is my view settings:
I should also mention that these three parts are missing from all four views of the main assembly, but show up fine in the layout for the sub-assembly.
This is the options I have available for the components in question:
In the last screen shot, the entry you have expanded is the first instance of the pattern, which is the one you say is visible.
expand the other elements in the pattern. the missing part should be grey if it is somehow off.
Try the section participation as well, if they are not greyed out when you reveal them.
if no luck try to change the section standard parts to ALL.
Notice you are using custom level of detail, something there maybe.
it is strange that you would have the parts visible in the assembly view but not in the associated drawing view.
try unassociating it and manually making the pattern, the elements, and the individual part under the element, visible on the right click menu.
Have you tried increasing the margin under model state?
