View Inventor dwg with Acad Mech (2014)

Viewing Inventor 2014 dwg with Acad Mech 2014 issue: views look like they have a white solid fill on them...  Doesn't happen all of the time.

Has anyone seen this?  These are Inventor 2014 vaulted dwg's open as read only with Mechanical 2014.

See attached image... The white area in this view is not supposed to be there.

According to your signature, your video driver is 2 1/2 years old.  In case you don't already have the latest, start here...

Hello James,

I agree with Brian.  What you describe seems to be a graphics issue.

The recommended driver for your graphics card model, running Inventor on Windows 7 x64, is 307.45.

You can download the driver directly from this link:

   http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert/card?siteID=123112&catID=18254205&id=18844534&product=8...

The recommendation for AutoCAD based products is either driver version 307.45 or 331.82.

   http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert/card?siteID=123112&catID=18254205&id=18844534&product=8...

You may want to install 331.82, since it's more recent.

If the problem is reproducible in other computers with specific drawings, we would need to take a look at a sample file.

Ok, sounds like a good place to start - thanks for the responses.
