am running the 40.72 driver for the NVidia cards under the archive
section, it is beta until MS approves it. This driver
rocks!

They will work for all Nvidia Cards, i am currently
using them on my Geforce2GTS (nvstraped to quadro) at work and my Gefroce4
TI4200 at home.

 

If you ever need to know check the nv4_disp.inf
file that comes woth the drivers.

Thanks.  I am using 41.03 but am not
seeing much in improvement on a Quadro2 Pro.  Probably need to tweak the
OpenGL settings, but don't have a clue where to start.  I will play around
with the settings a bit and see if it helps.

You bet it does. I have one in my home machine. It is tweaked into a
Quadro 2 MXR/EX. Works better than it did as a geforce.
