All of a sudden I see that within my Inventor the vault Collaboration ribbon has disappeared. How do I bring this back?

Have you checked whether the Inventor Vault Application has been loaded as the Add-In? You could check it from Add-in Manager. If it is unloaded, please load it, and Vault will be back in the Ribbon.
That brings it back to the ribbon, but it still doesn't work.
Most options are grayed out in the ribbon and application menu. If I try to open from Vault in the file open dialog box, I just get dumped back to Inventor. The Place command in the Vault ribbon tab does nothing.
I'm checking things out using the full Vault Professional 2013 and then opening them to work on them in Inventor, but I'm concerned about the viability of this solution.
I've attached screen captures of what I'm seeing.
Go to the addin dialog. rmb in an empty area inside the dialog (some where on white space) and show hidden members.
check mark the EDM addin.
You should be good now.
Wow that's awesome on several levels. First, I submitted a support request with Autodesk yesterday, marked it critical and I still haven't heard back from them. Second, I was thinking that I'd have to re-install Vault Pro or something. I didn't even have to exit Inventor.
Thank you! Did you find that somewhere, stumble across it or what?

Learnt it the hardway. reinstalled .. worked with VAR etc.
Finally after several days one of the guys at my VAR helped me out.
Glad it helped you too.
Autodesk - Why do you hide this important feature?
Has anyone found a way to make it so we don't have to keep loading the add-in every time we open Inventor? "Load Automatically" doesn't.
