VBA error while saving idw

Hi All I’m new here

my name is Erik-Martijn and work daily with inventor.

Info:

Inventor 2012 sp2 build 219

Os win7 64x

I have an odd error which I can't solve...

the problem is every time I open an idw and hit the save button an MS visual basic screen open (see attachment) with an error:

Compile Error:

Duplicate Option statement

when hit ok you see twice Option Explicit

I delete one and a popup will appear which saying this action will reset your project, proceed anyway?

After this the normal save popup will appear

yesterday they reimaged my computer but the problem is still there...

when I go to my colleague and uses his computer the problem doesn't exist

I have made an export of the application settings of my colleague and import this in my inventor but this had no effect.

Can anyone help me please?

Are you opening a new idw from a template or an existing idw?  Does it do this with all idws?

its with an existing and new idw files

no not with all idw files only with the idw files of the current customer.

You do not need either Option Explicit in the files.  You can delete both.  Make sure your project is set correctly after doing this.

I have deleted the Option Explicit in the main file when is save and close the VBA editor and after that save and close the main idw file, after re-open the idw the Option Explicit is back.

i'm getting crazy 🙂
