I am currently running Inventor 2011. Is it possible to program iLogic to select and suppress all dimensions/notes that become detached when I change my iPart member within my drawing and to reattach them when I switch back to the original view?
Hi jdrwv5,
Have a look at this thread, and you'll find some ilogic examples that do some of what you're after:

I hope this helps.

Curtis, thanks for the reply. That is a good piece of code. However, it would appear that it is actually the centerlines that are becoming detached when I suppress certain features. Is it possible to modify the code to suppress the orphaned centerlines as well as their associated dimensions?
Hi jdrwv5,
I added an example to the previous thread that will delete centerlines and centermarks.

Note that the example deletes the detached annotations rather than suppressing them. I don't know of a way to suppress them, but you could turn the visibility of them off. However, doing so would not quiet the errors caused by unattached annotations.
To turn off the visibility use this:
oCenterLine.Visible = False rather than oCenterLine.Delete
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
