Tabulated drawing dimensions

I am trying to create a tabulated drawing. I would like to place letters
(A,B,C...) in the place of the dimension value. See attached image.

When I RMB on the dim, I get an option to "Hide Value", but is shown
instead of the value.

How do I place text I want and not have the dimension?

After the shows up RMB again and select Text.. and highlight and edit
the to say what you want...

After doing the Hide Value, you'll be able to edit the text.
