Symantec endpoint protection - Inventor - Vault

Hello,
does anybody have experience with Symantec endpoint protection installed with Inventor and Vault ?
I suspect Symantec to be reason of very slow openning Inventor files.
I understand it's specific problem depending on configuration, but maybe somebody know ...
Thanks
Pavel

I've never heard of Symantec End Point, but if it contains Anti-Virus
software you need to go into the settings and excluded Inv files types and
folder locations

I excluded the following
"*.i??"
"c:\Program Files\Autodesk\*\*"
Work and storage folders
"C:\Documents and Settings\«name»\Application Data\Autodesk"
"C:\Documents and Settings\«name»\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk"
"C:\Documents and Settings\«name»\Local Settings\Temp"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk, Inc"

I only exclude these files and folder locations from the AV's day-to-day
monitoring of my computer. I DO NOT esclude them from the weekly scan my AV
does.

Thanks a lot. I had set some exceptions, but not all.
Would you please tell me also about firewall ? I can see in task manager, that during opening there is still activity of process smcgui (I/O read bytes increase), which is propably firewall (as I found on web). Propably it is now the reason.
Thanks

The activity it either Inv conecting to CC/Vault &/or the Communication

Your Firewall isn't the culprit.

Additionally (I mentioned this in a previous post somewhere, you can do the
search) turn off scanning of network drives in SEP if your Vault is on a
network server or if you pull any files off the network. The file type
exclusions will not take effect if those files are loaded from a network
path.

If looking for other best endpoint protection software, go with enterprise.comodo.com, it is providing best software. recently I get a positive review from my friend's circle.
