Sweep Cut Assembly

I need to know if there is a way to sweep cut am assembly in Inventor 2012.

Spoke to a few Solidworks people now and was told the new Solidworks version has that as an option.

Any help?

You just need to read the whole thread. The files are added by the thread starter.

Well, the whole thing is getting crazy. Why don't you ask him for doing rectangle arrays, instead of constraining multiple parts with one-another?

? Files were added by the Poster in thread 11 of this Post. I have no idea when you post a renamed IAM what files it reference, the Posters original files or renamed files of yours. Just because you know what changes you made, the rest of us don't. When we see a IAM posted without any related IPT's with it, we don't even bother to waste our time. An accompanying statement that is uses the existing Posters files would help.

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

The amount of extra work you are doing is rather astonishing.

Here is my assembly with the same components.

Notice that only 3 assembly constraints are needed if patterns of the components are used.

Can you explain in some detail your design intent for this assembly?

All of the layers can be cut at once.

Just like the real world.
