SubAssembly Does not move in main assembly

I am trying to place several hinges in all of our cabinet assembly models (Over 100 Models). I have created and constrained a movable hinge, but when placing the sub-assembly in the main assembly it seems that all aspects of the rotation of the hinge are grounded. I want to be able to open and close the door on the cabinet in which contraining it once and placing in all my models. Any suggestions on what I should do or the fastest way to do this.

Thanks,
Scott

Make one half the hinge part of the door sub, and the other half part of the cabinet sub.

Scott -

A component can only be uniquely adapted in one
assembly.

There is no way currently to use the same hinge
assembly and have it be open 30 degrees in one assembly and 35 degrees in
another - you would current have to make a copy of the assembly (prior to having
made it adaptive - use SAVE COPY AS) in which case your assembly file would be
named something other than your original assembly (possibly an issue for you
depending on your internal naming requirements).

We are planning to address this limitation in a
future release.
