I've been looking all over the discussion boards so I apologize if this question has already been posted and I was unable to locate it.
I've been working on this project for a few months and am now stuck. I am using Excel parametric parts and parametric assemblies with iLogic. I have a sub-iassembly, which has a number of iLogic rules that run no problem. Within that sub-iassembly, I have 16 members that are all slight variations of each other. I also have a master assembly that will include each member of the sub-iassembly and use iLogic to suppress/ unsuppress members as appropriate. Everything is running exactly as planned except that the members within my master assembly will not update when my Excel parameters are changed. Is there any iLogic code that can be used to re-generate my members in my sub-iassembly every time my spreadsheet is updated. I want to run all parts and sub-assemblies from my master assembly. I have not been able to locate any rule (or code) within iLogic that would reference my sub-iassembly from my master assembly to regenerate my members.
I assumed using an iAssembly because any major changes I make to one member is carried to all members (which is exteremely desireable). However, if there is a more efficient/ possbile way of making this work I am open to any and all suggestions.
