Student Version to Trial Professional

I currently have the student version of inventor professional on my computer and would like to get the 30 day trial instead. I tried uninstalling the student version and installing the trial, but it will not let me. It just installs as the student version all over again. Is there a simple way to turn the student version in to a 30 day trial version?

THANKS

-Rachel

Rachel,

Did you do a clean uninstall then a clean reinstall?

Any components created with the Student Version will still produce the "Student Version" banner when you print your drawings.

All work done with the Student Version will/should be deleted from your system. A single flat-washer within a 10,000 part IAM will still cause the "Student" banner to be displayed/printed regardless it's a Student version of full licensed version.

I use a program called "cCleaner.com" to clean the registry after un-installing software.

When you install the student version (or any version) it initially installs as 30-day trial.
So you have already installed 30-day trial.
Any attempt to re-install will see the previous trial install and prompt for immediate license activation (or see your previous student license activation).
